Romanee-Conti from the legendary 1929 vintage from the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti in negociant bottling by reknown Beglian wine merchants Vandemeulen. The bottle is in overall goo to very good condition for its age great fill level ca. 5-6cm ullage which is excellent for over 60 years, intact label label with soiling and various minor scuffs and tears and intact capsule with notable corrosion, the bottle has not leaked during horizontal storage and the capsule and cork appear to be tight and firm (see images). The glass bottle is a beautoful piece of vintage glass manufactuing and is made of very thick and heavy glass, showing a lot of manual manufacturing steps through irregularities in the glass and the deep, period typical punt.
